Looks like Kapamilya star Joseph Marco, an actor known for showcasing his abs to the public, is just fine with fellow Kapamilya Liza Soberano's latest comment on guys with abs.
Joseph told to a reporter in his contract signing with ABS-CBN that it is normal for young girls like Liza to feel that way towards certain men.
“How old is Liza? 18, 19? Syempre ano ba naman i-expect mo, sobrang bata alangan naman na 19 years old, 18 years old, you know, mahilig na sa abs. Kanya-kanya naman preferences ‘yan,” Joseph said.
Joseph also said that he did not feel any discomfort or uneasiness after he found out Liza's comment, saying that he respects her opinions as he also has his preference.
Joseph is known for showcasing his fit and ripped body for the fans and for the ladies in his TV shows and even in his various social media accounts.
“It’s normal. For example, para sa’kin, sa babae, ayoko rin ‘yung may abs. Gusto ko yung flat yung tiyan, yung sexy lang,” Joseph said.
“Siyempre, nirespeto ko yung side niya. Tsaka bilang isang mature na tao, you know, naiintindihan ko,” he added.
Liza made men surprised (while some became hopeful that they finally have a shot to the angel-like face Kapamilya) when she revealaed in an interview with MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN News that she does not like men with abs.
“Sa totoo lang po feeling ko sobrang comfortable na ako kay Quen (Enrique Gil) kaya hindi ako naiilang. Tsaka sa totoo lang, ayoko ng lalaking sobrang ma-abs,” Liza said.
Joseph is going to star in an upcoming soap opera called "Wildflower" with Maja Salvador. The show will focus on love, choices, and revenge. Joseph and Maja are joined by Tirso Cruz III, RK Bagatsing, Vin Abrenica, Malou De Guzman, Ana Abad Santos, Arnold Reyes, and Izzy Canillo.
"Wildflower" will be premiered this Monday, February 13.
