Tigers are one of the scariest, most extreme creatures out there. In fact, lots of humans have died under their vicious bites and it was stated by One Kind Planet that they’re even capable of killing animals around twice their size.
Imagine that! These animals are used to living alone and are able to mark their territories by aggressively throwing their scent around a place. They also use their distinctive coats to camouflage themselves from others—it turns out no two tigers are the same!
YouTube account ‘Wild Nature’ compiled what they consider the deadliest tiger attacks on humans. According to their description, tigers have claimed more human lives than the attacks of any other large cats.
They said, “The most comprehensive study of deaths due to tiger attacks estimates that at least 373,000 people died due to tiger attacks between 1800 and 2009, the majority of these attacks occurring in South and Southeast Asia.”
It continued, “In Southeast Asia, attacks gradually declined after peaking in the nineteenth century, but attacks in South Asia have remained high, particularly in the Sundarbans.”
It’s not known how and why the footages were caught and compiled in such a video, but the netizens’ reactions were varied.
Here were some of them:
Brooklyn Campbell: “That's why you should never EVER get close to any kind of big cat! I don't blame the cats I blame the stupid humans!”
Cheng Yang: “How the fuck do all these people keep ending up in the cage with the animals?”
Wonder why they commented as such? See the video for yourself!
