A lot of women experience problems in their nether regions but sometimes fail to do something about it. Most females feel ashamed that it might be something serious which is why they opt not to have themselves checked.
On the other hand, there are also some conditions that exist in women’s private parts which sometimes go unnoticed because they show little to no symptoms.
This is why it is always important to get regularly checked despite not feeling anything wrong with yourself.
Meanwhile, conditions such as Vestibular Papillomatosis, which causes great discomfort on women, should be brought to the attention of your OB-Gyn.
This particular condition shows up in a woman’s private part and looks like tiny bunched up glands.
The bumps usually appear on the vestibular labia minora deep inside the woman's vagina and are pinkish or sometimes even reddish in color.
Luckily, this condition is not caused by STD. However, they can cause itchiness and a burning sensation in the private area of a woman.
According to some experts, this condition is normal for women who are experiencing menopause and menarche.
Experts added that there is no definitive cause for this condition except the "interrelated genetic and environmental factors influencing the reproductive system development".
Doctors advise that if it bothers you that much, then you should have it checked or removed. However, if it doesn’t give off any irritating feeling, then there’s no need to be alarmed.
The papules produced by this condition can easily be removed by professionals by burning them using certain acids or by prescribing a topical medication, such as phodophyllin or podofilox, which you can use at home.
