The hottest fashion trend today is ripped clothing or “homeless chic” as some would call it.
It’s basically a collection of torn up shirts, pants and other kinds of clothes.
However, there’s a new clothing line that just may put ripped clothing to shame!
Popular American clothing brand Levi’s and French brand Vetements’ have joined together to create the new High-Rise Distressed Jeans.
These new jeans aren’t your typical “distressed” denim pants (with the torn or ripped look). Vetements and Levi’s have designed these fashionable jeans with a zipper – on the back!
Now you can undo a zipper on your rear-end to reveal your entire butt! Crazy right?
And if you decide on unzipping the whole pair all the way back-to-front, then your entire crotch area is completely exposed!
Talk about “easy access.”
Their reported retail prices range from $1,800 to $1,870, for a controversial pair of jeans. For any would be fashionistas, they’d know that Vetements has a reputation for pushing the fashion envelope.
They often design the most outlandish and unique kinds of clothing. Celebrities like Rihanna and Kendall Jenner are serious fans of this clothing brand.
These pants are a part of the Vetements X Levi’s Spring collection. All of them feature denim-wear with zippers in sewn into different and ‘strategic’ areas.
Many fashion magazines were absolutely surprised by the daring design of these pants and many of them offered their own opinions concerning them.
Lauren Alexis Fisher of “Harper’s Bazaar” fashion magazine wrote: “No historian could have seen this coming but it seems as though we’ve officially entered The Great Jeans Apocalypse in the year 2017.”
Ms. Fisher has even gone on record to say that these pants have gone into “questionable territory.”
Zoë Weiner of Teen Vogue magazine has said that the new Vetements X Levi’s collection is “questionable-looking.”
Regardless, she had some fairly positive reviews over the pants.
She says: “this booty-highlighting look could certainly be considered the most innovative.”
“Plus, worrying about splitting your pants will be a thing of the past,” she added.
The reaction from regular folks has been mixed at best towards these pants. Some have voiced their excitement for this chic new legwear while others simply can’t understand the appeal.
Some have even joked that these pants are perfect when you have to go to the bathroom. Hahaha!
