Tourism has its benefits and downsides. On one hand, tourism is a great way for foreign money to come into a country as well a way to show off the diverse culture that country has. On the other hand, foreigners ignorant of local customs usually make a mess of things.
Worst still are rude tourists who simply don’t care to be decent people while visiting another person’s homeland.
21-year-old netizen Narong Thaopanya had experienced the arrogance of these foreigners firsthand while riding coach in a bus.
On March 30th, the bus they were riding in was headed towards the Sukhothai province located in northern Thailand.
According to Thaopanya, there was sudden disgusting smell which wafted around the bus. He looked around to see where the stink was coming from. He discovered that a French backpacker was resting her stinky feet right on the bus seat’s headrest.
Right beside Thaopanya’s head.
He asked the tourist to remove her feet – but was refused outright by the arrogant Frenchwoman.
She just stared at him when he asked politely and kept her nasty smelling feet on the headrest.
Thaopanya decided to make a viral hit out of the woman by recording her actions for all netizens to see.
According to Thaopanya, '”This woman's face was beautiful but she had no manners.
“The smell from her feet was filling the whole bus. It was hot and made me feel sick, because her feet were next to my head.
“I asked her many times to put her legs on the ground and she would not do it. She just kept them in the air.
“Somebody will have to use the seat and put their head where her dirty feet have been.”

'Would she have done this in her own country? If think that she thought she could get do it because she is a woman.
'People should be more respectful when they are visitors to other people's countries.”
Such a poor example of manners!
