You know what Muay Thai is, right? The one that uses extreme kicking especially to the legs?
Okay, let’s be more technical – Muay Thai is a form of boxing that originated in Thailand. It entails both physical and mental stamina in order for one to fully practice the technique.
In fact, it’s also known as the “art of eight limbs” since the fists, elbows, knees, and shins are all used for the sport. There are lots of various kicking techniques involved in Muay Thai.
These are the straight kick, the roundhouse, the diagonal, the half-shin/half-knee, the reverse roundhouse, the down roundhouse, the ax heel, the jump, and the step-up kick.
