Marcel Amphoux is a 67-year old rich farmer who lived very simply. However, he was not really an attractive guy. He was a well-loved toothless person in the small French village of Puy-Saint-Pierre. He lived in a hut without electricity or running water.
When he became successful, Marcel bought many properties and possessed prime land and huts. He had tenants who rented his properties.
Then, he married a gorgeous lady who was 25 years younger than him. Her name is Sandrine Devillard. The neighborhood didn't like Sandrine as they knew she was only after Marcel's wealth.
Only a year after their wedding, Sandrine sent two of her friends to take Marcel out on a drive. Unfortunately, there was a car accident which some people find oddly mysterious. Marcel died but Sandrine’s two friends survived.
Sandrine Devillard is tagged as a gold digger after she questioned her late husband Marcel's will. Because of disappointment, she took the will to the court to fight for it.
When the time came to deal with the money and properties that Marcel left behind, Sandrine was caught off guard when they discovered that the huts were given to the tenants and the other properties were left to his female cousin.
Sandrine hired lawyers to support her claim that the will was not written in Marcel’s handwriting. However, legal experts proved that the will was, indeed, written by the rich toothless farmer.
Therefore, the gorgeous Sandrine Devillard was left with nothing and might go back to the life she had before marrying Marcel.
