Many Youtubers now are trying hard to do videos that will satisfy the people and make them say “WOW” and “hit the like button down below”. They do this in order for the video to go viral and earn thousands and even millions of likes from people. Some even get to the point where they are doing life-threatening stunts just to get those “likes”.
It was reported that this couple from Minnesota tried to do a viral video. What was supposed to happen was the girlfriend will shoot a book that her boyfriend is holding over his chest; the book was supposed to stop the bullet. But of course, it did not.
When she realized that the stunt had gone wrong, she immediately called 911 and rushed her boyfriend to the hospital. Monalisa Perez, the girlfriend, was seven-months pregnant with her boyfriend. Pedro Ruiz, who died with a single shot in his chest.
Claudia Ruiz, Pedro’s Aunt told CNN that the two were in love. That they loved each other and it was just a prank that gone wrong.
Monalisa also tweeted about their plan on doing the video.
Perez was charged of manslaughter and faces a ten years sentence in jail. She was then released through bail but need to go on trial on July 5th.
What a tragic ending of a love story. Will you do this kind of video? Post your comment below and tell us what you think!
