Notable Filipino artist Agot Isidro is on the warpath again, and the object of her new anger is no less than Filipino netizens who are bashing Jeff Horn. In a tweet, the actress raised a question to the bashers.
After Manny Pacquiao's lost to Jeff Horn on July 2, some Filipino fans couldn't help but be furious with Horn. These fans started bashing not just Horn but also referred to Australians as a whole. Some said Horn is "cheater" as well as his fellow Australians. Some even called Brisbane as the home of a fake champion.
These "boos" from the netizens started when Jeff Horn won by a unanimous decision. Some Filipinos could not accept the fact that Horn got the higher score. Though some just kept quiet about the issue, there are still some who took their anger on the result to social media and blasted hate posts on Horn and his country.
This is the reason why Agot Isidro got upset. She even shared an article written by Daily Mail UK about the Filipino fans targeting Jeff Horn and his wife on social media. She even said "Nakakahiya!" pertaining to the behavior that Filipino fans showcased online.
Well, Agot Isidro actually has a point with her question and statement. Whenever Manny wins, we and Manny receive a "congratulations" from other countries, even from the country of his rival, but when Manny loses, some Filipino fans do not congratulate his opponent, instead, they bash him.
