The Philippines is not only known for its rich culture, but also for its beautiful islands with the most breath-taking beaches. With more than seven thousand isles, you will never run out of places to explore. National Geographic found a certain beach in the country enticing enough to include it in their list of 21 Best Beaches in the World. It is the Pink Beach in Sta. Cruz Island in Zamboanga.
The stunning Pink Beach got its name for the color of its sand. The pink hue is a product of crushed red organ pipe coral that washes over the seashore. The local government is taking care of their precious tourist spot and is doing everything to preserve it despite having visitors from other lands.
Many tourists are attracted to the beauty of the beach which looked like it came from a different dimension. The contrast of colors of the crystal blue water and the pink sand makes the place more magical.
If you want to visit the beach, you will still need to talk to their tourist office. Imagine spending the night at the place with a bonfire watching the stars? Wouldn’t that be amazing and total #friendship or #relationship goals? Unfortunately, staying overnight is prohibited.
Other pink sand beaches can also be found other countries like the Out Islands in Bahamas and the Horseshoe Bay in Bermuda. However, with the gorgeous gift that has been blessed to the Philippines, you do not need to spend a fortune just to have a unique travel experience.
Maybe before travelling abroad, you can consider discovering what your country has to offer. There are many places in the country which are less noticed, but more beautiful than known tourist spots. Furthermore, these precious beaches should be taken care of, so let us learn to give value to what we have here first.
