Comedian Vhong Navarro will not marry his non-showbiz girlfriend.. yet.
In an interview with PUSH for the presscon of his movie, the It’s Showtime host said that there is no definite date set for the wedding.
Hindi pa talagay matuluy-tuloy,” Vhong said.
But why not get married?
According to the actor, one of the reasons for the delay of wedding plans is his involvement in ongoing cases filed by Deniece Cornejo, Cedric Lee, and et al.
Last July, Deniece filed another rape complaint against the actor, in relation to the incident in 2014. This was her third complaint, after the previous two cases were both dismissed by the Department of Justice and by the City Prosecutor of Taguig.
Vhong hopes that everything will be resolved immediately so that he could marry his girlfriend.
But, he coyly said that they might not wait for the resolution of the case.
The actor-host also admitted his mistakes. Wala akong itinago. Kung ano ang naging kamalian ko noon, nambabae ako, sinabi ko naman ’yun,” the funny man said.
Amidst the controversies, his non-showbiz girlfriend still stick with him until the end.
Vhong thankfully replied.
His latest flick with Lovi Poe, entitled Woke Up Like This, tells a story of two characters whose bodies got switched when they woke up.
