District 8, if you must know, is the newest gastropub in the Metro and if you think this is your ordinary gastropub, well, think twice 'coz you just might see your favorite celebrities frequent the joint!
Why? Simply because the owners' pool of this drinking hub is absolutely star-studded! Want to know more about them? Read on!
District 8 is located in San Juan and is co-owned by San Juan Vice Mayor Francis Zamora, former PBA player Paul Artadi, active PBA players James Yap and Marc Pingris, Ayala Land premier senior manager Charlton Yu, celebrity chef Kel Zaguirre, club DJ Ace Ramos, TV host Billy Crawford, and teen king Daniel Padilla.
It is currently one of the most talked about up-and-coming restaurants and it recently got a big publicity boost when Daniel Padilla invited his good friend, comedian Vice Ganda, to be another partner in their business venture.
District 8 Gastropub will be opening its doors soon and will surely be a spot where celebrities, athletes, and other high-profile personalities can congregate for good food, good drinks, and good music.
The new restaurant had a soft opening on August 8, however, the official public opening is set for August 14. Despite their busy schedules, Daniel and Vice have been very active in attending meetings and food tasting sessions where they provide their input.
“Each partner has given a commitment to be a big part of District 8 and have a significant role in the direction of this venture. And so far, Daniel and Vice have both shown how determined they are to see this venture succeed,” Vice Mayor Zamora noted.
Well, we are very much excited about this new gastropub and we cannot wait to experience it for ourselves!
