If you were drinking Milo in the early 2000s then you probably know who Japoy Lizardo is. Remember the good-looking taekwondo champion who had a bad-ass kick pictured in ever Milo sachet?
Yup, that's Japoy. Japoy, born John Paul Lizardo, is a taekwondo prodigy and his Milo commercials are branded in the memories of all Milo kids during his heyday.
In an attempt to describe his great innate abilities, Japoy only learned taekwondo when he was 11. When he turned 12, he went from a beginner to a black belter. That’s right, it only took him 1 year to reach the rank of black belt.
In 2016, Japoy Lizardo was named as the head coach of the Philippine taekwondo team. In the same year, he married the love of his life - the attractive and equally skilled Janice Lagman. The couple are both adept taekwondo practitioners. Talk about #relationshipgoals.
Early this year, the couple was blessed with their first child, Jace Alonzo L. Lizardo. This kid is blessed with such great genes! I mean, just look at the kid with his gorgeous eyes and a full set of hair.
It’s a safe bet that this kid will be a heartthrob just like his dad when he grows up.
But even with such a great family, the two never forgot their love for the sport and are still eager to teach young taekwondo practitioners!
